Details. 

God loves details. He never misses, forgets or pushes aside a detail. Big or small, He takes note of them all. He didn’t miss a detail in His perfectly planned out path for you. He thought of it all. He delights in the intricate details of our lives.

Yesterday I was driving, having a little mini worship session in my car. Just sitting with God.

A prayer that I have been praying a lot, is just for God to reveal Himself to me. Whatever that may look like in the moment.

In the car I prayed,

“God reveal yourself to me. Right here. Right now. In the car.”

The song I was listening to in the car as I prayed was talking about how God watches over every sparrow. Such a simple, yet powerful realization meaning, how much more will He love us if He watches over every tiny sparrow.

I prayed, focused on the lyrics and just sat with God in that moment.

Right after the song had ended not only did just ONE bird fly over my car, but a huge flock of sparrows. Now I’m not a huge fan of birds, but I know a sparrow when I see one… and I may have looked it up after to confirm that they were in fact sparrows.

The sky yesterday was the clearest it had been in MONTHS. A beautiful blue sky. You couldn’t miss the huge flock of birds. It was insane. Full body chills. A seemingly small detail that many people had probably overlooked that day, yet it held so much importance to me.

The sparrows were a reminder that God is with me, always. A normal, boring drive in Michigan yet He was still with me. Sitting with me. Listening to me. Watching over me the same way He does with the sparrows. Had I not been sitting with Him in that moment, I would have missed that detail.

God met me exactly where I was. I asked Him to reveal Himself to me, and He answered.

He showed up. Just like He always does, and will continue to do.

Guys understand this,

God is a God of intricate details. 

He wants to answer your prayers. He hears every single one. 

Pray big prayers. He wants to exceed your expectations. 

If God watches over every sparrow, how much more will He love you?

Pay attention to the details and you will find Him constantly.

He already has every detail covered. Every. Little. Detail.

When He made you, He carefully knit you together, no detail going unnoticed. He knew what He was doing when He put you in this world. 

God delights in all the little details of our lives.

Rest knowing that He has it all figured out. Every. Little. Detail. 

It’s all already in His hands.
